The oldest of our students started kitesurfing when he was 80 years old, he is now 85 and he still rides ;-)
This course is ideal to learn the basics of kiteboarding and to acquire the glide. This course is ideal for people who have never done a course in a school and who wish to discover the activity in complete safety or for people who have never managed to get out of water in other schools...
PROGRAMME OF YOUR COURSE 4 SESSIONS
-Tuesday 13:30 am - 3 Hours session :
Use of 2 Line Kites to learn how to fly; in the middle of the session you will move on to 4 Line Kites to feel the power of the kite and learn to master the Border. You will start to get into the water at the end of the session.
Learn how to manage the kite, safety systems, manage the wind window.
- Wednesday 9:30 am - 3 Hours session :
Kitesurfing simulator in the sea with the boat, learning the waterstart, the glide and the tow...
- Thursday 1:30 pm - 3 hours session :
First waterstart at sea and first edges with the kite and the board.
- Friday 9:30 am - 3 hours session : Improvement
In order to make the best from the learning session, we adapt to the wind conditions. The evolution of the session can be adapted. NO POSTPONEMENT OF THE COURSE
All the sessions are done in open water with DEJEPS qualified instructors and safety boats to guarantee you an optimal comfort. During this course, you will learn to master your board and the right kite positions, thanks to our kite simulator. A unique concept in France which allows you to get the right sensations right away and to progress much faster by gaining 2 or 3 lessons compared to other schools which are not equipped with one.
Our main purpose is to give quality lessons to our students, while respecting safety standards, higher than the federal recommendations. Up to 4 students per lesson.
If the lessons are not full, which can happen out of season. The courses are reduced as follows:
- 3 students: 3 hours
- 2 students: 2 hours
- 1 student: 1 hour

Expérience mitigée...
J'avais offert un stage de Kyte à mon père pour son anniversaire et j'en ai pris un pour moi, nous l'avons fait ensemble. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons été déçu tout les deux, pas sur l'activité en elle même mais sur l'organisation. Déjà le premier jour, pas de bateau avec le simulateur (le patron est soi-disant parti avec...) bon ok, soit, on est la pour passer un bon moment, donc on part quand même en mer avec un autre bateau faire du wake avec un palonnier (ca fait cher la séance de wake). La 2ème jour, le bateau avec le simulateur était cette fois dispo, donc on part en mer, et évidemment avec le baudrier, sortir de l'eau était beaucoup plus facile que la veille, la glisse aussi. Donc on peut se poser la question: a quoi servait la 1 ère journée par rapport a l'apprentissage du Kyte ? Ensuite on enchaine l'après midi avec une session apprentissage de la partie voile, en mer, avec 2 autres personnes (donc 4 personnes + le moniteur). Et la on se retrouve en pleine mer avec une voile entre les mains qui tombe dans l'eau rapidement et qu'on arrive pas à faire redécoller. Le moniteur entre temps devait aller checker les autres en mer, donc on se retrouvait tour a tour seul dans l'eau avec notre à voile, dont on ne savait pas quoi faire. Quel bel apprentissage... Nous étions mon père et moi déçu, et n’ayant pas envie de continuer d'apprendre le Kyte. J'avais pourtant précisé au moniteur que la partie glisse n'était pas la plus importante et que ce n'est pas sur la glisse que nous aurions des difficultés mais sur la maitrise de la voile. Un cours de gonflage sur la plage, avec un peu de théorie aurait été le bienvenu avant d'aller en mer avec la voile, ca me semble le minimum. Bref, on a trouvé ca cher et mal organisé. Le moniteur était pourtant très sympa, dommage.
