On the programme

Bandol wines owe their name to this small port nestled in the hills. It was here that barrels were loaded for export. Bandol is now known for its marina. A seaside resort of international renown, Bandol is ideally situated between Cassis and the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.

From your accommodation in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez (see departure villages included in our offer), your driver-wine guide, expert on the wines of the region will pick you up in the early morning to begin this full-day Bandol wine discovery tour (approx. 9/9.30am, depending on your departure point). Bandol is best known for its wines, which were awarded one of France's first AOPs in 1936, producing surprisingly structured wines with great ageing potential. 8 villages can lay claim to the AOP out of the 1,600 hectares of the wine-growing region.

1st estate: Domaines Bunan (4 wines tasted),

Between the powerful and typical traditional red Bandols, the well-balanced white Bandols and the fruity and tasty rosé Bandols, your guide will take you on a guided tour of the vineyards to give you information about the region, followed by a tasting of 3 vintages and 1 old vintage in the cellar.

2nd estate: Domaine Souviou (cellar and olive grove tour, 5 wines tasted, 3 olive oils and picnic lunch),

In a place steeped in a thousand years of history, we offer a guided historical tour of the remains of the estate's past and its olive grove. Get up close to the vineyard and cellar, and discover the techniques involved in making wine. We then invite you to taste 5 AOP Bandol and AOP Côtes de Provence wines (selected by your guide). You'll also be able to taste 3 olive oils from their production, accompanied by a few povençal toasts (approx. 1h30).

You'll then enjoy an authentic lunch (1h) on site (outdoors or, in case of bad weather, on their sheltered terrace). A "authentic formula"* will be offered, consisting of: a cold meats and cheeses platter, salad of the day, pissaladière and dessert of the day (*variable according to season). 1 Bottle for 4 people included, selected by your guide.

3rd estate: Domaine Terrebrune or Château Croix d'Allons (3 to 4 wines tasted),

Finish the day with a visit to Château Croix d'Allons or Domaine de Terrebrune. This 9-hour wine tour ends with a final visit and tasting of 3 to 4 wines/person with your driver-guide. A beautiful day in the wine world awaits you on this wine tour to Bandol.

At the end of the day, your driver-guide will take you back to your pick-up point.
