Boat Rental in Saint-Raphaël for a Lérins Islands Escape

A boat rental in Saint-Raphaël becomes especially attractive when it leads to the calm waters and island atmosphere of the Lérins archipelago. Here, the private format creates a serene day on the water, with time to enjoy the crossing, admire the Estérel coastline, and reach the islands without the pace of a crowded group excursion

The strength of this specific offer lies in its balance. 6 hours is long enough to feel like a true Riviera escape while still fitting easily into a holiday schedule. Because the boat is private and the route is focused on the Lérins Islands, the experience feels intimate, fluid, and well-suited to travelers who value scenic cruising and real time in the water.

Boating in Saint-Raphaël with Guided Snorkeling Stops

Boating in Saint-Raphaël takes on a stronger experiential dimension here because the outing is paired with guided snorkeling rather than simple sightseeing. Plus, the presence on board of our skipper, sea guide, and diving instructor, gives the day a more reassuring and expert-led character from departure to each stop.

That guidance matters in practice because each stop becomes more than a swim break. Guests discover the coastline and seabed with support while still enjoying the calm rhythm expected from a private marine outing. The result combines comfort, discovery, and active moments in clear water around the Lérins Islands.

Leaving from Saint-Raphaël, embark for the day aboard a comfortable boat for a private excursion to discover the Esterel coastline and the Lérins Islands. At stopovers, take to the water and discover the wonders of the underwater world.

Caroline, your sea guide Skipper and diving instructor, will give you an unforgettable experience at sea!

Do you need a license to drive a boat in France?

In France, a boat license is required to operate motorboats with an engine power above 6 horsepower (4.5 kW). A coastal license is needed for sea navigation, while an inland license applies to rivers and canals.

No license is required if you are a passenger on a boat operated by a professional skipper.

Boat license requirements are not something guests need to manage for this activity because the outing is operated as a private boat with a skipper. Caroline leads the day as skipper and guide, so travelers can focus on the experience rather than navigation rules

What kinds of things do you do on a day out on the boat?

On a typical day out on a boat along the Côte d’Azur, activities often include swimming in clear waters, snorkeling, relaxing on deck, and enjoying scenic cruising along the coastline. Depending on the itinerary, stops may be made in secluded coves or near landmarks like the Estérel creeks or the Lérins Islands, offering a mix of leisure and exploration.

Boat day activities here include scenic sailing, stops to admire the Estérel coastline, and guided snorkeling with fins, mask, and snorkel. The excursion is both a relaxing sea day and a discovery of the underwater world around the Lérins Islands.
