Nature walk in the Blavet gorges - in the footsteps of Homo Bouvérien

This walk combines history and nature. The Blavet gorges were once frequented by Homo Bouvérien, a hunter-gatherer. Less well known to the general public, it's a remarkable place that offers landscapes in relief with vegetation typical of the Mediterranean climate.

Duration : 3 h

  • An original and little-known walk
  • Information and anecdotes
  • Free ride for children under 3
  • Safe evolution in a natural environment
  • Colorado varois

On the programme

We'll head off into the Gorges du Blavet to follow in the footsteps of the Homo Bouvérien who frequented the Bouverie caves. We'll also look at the volcanic phenomenon that gave rise to the landscape we see before our eyes today. We'll take a break at a pond that is of ecological interest in this dry landscape. Here, laughing frogs and European pond terrapins are a delight to observe. The walk lasts an estimated 2 hours.
