You will spend an afternoon at sea on an island near Saint-Raphael and after a full briefing on the activity, you will dive with confidence with a certified instructor for about twenty minutes (one instructor per person) who will introduce you to Mediterranean life (fish, octopus, sea urchins, starfish etc).
Before and after your dive, you can swim and snorkel around the island (we stay about 90 minutes on site).
Tea and sweets on the boat (! COVID-19! : currently consider taking your bottle of water because we can no longer offer tea and sweets!)
A First dive certificate will be issued for your first underwater experience when we'll be back, around 5 p.m.
This activity is open to all from the age of 8 (parental permission required for minors).
You need: swimsuit, water, sunglasses, towel (and warm clothes for the chilly).

No. This first scuba diving experience is suitable for beginners and does not require any previous diving experience. Before your dive, your instructor will explain how the activity works, the safety rules and how to use the equipment. You will be guided and accompanied throughout your underwater discovery.

The first dive is available for children from 8 years old as well as adults who want to discover scuba diving for the first time. Parental authorisation is required for minors.
Your experience begins with a welcome at the diving centre and a briefing with your instructor. You will then discover your equipment and the essential safety instructions before heading out to sea from Port Fréjus. Once at the dive site, you will enjoy your first underwater immersion accompanied by a professional instructor.
The activity lasts approximately 3 hours in total. This includes the welcome, explanations, equipment preparation, the boat trip and your first underwater immersion of around 20 minutes.
The dive is carried out with personalised supervision from a qualified instructor. Several participants may take part in the same boat trip, but each diver is supervised during their immersion so they can discover scuba diving at their own pace.
During a first dive, the depth is adapted to beginners. The immersion can reach around 6 metres depending on your comfort level in the water and the conditions of the day, always accompanied by your instructor.
The underwater world of Fréjus allows you to discover the richness of the Mediterranean Sea. Depending on visibility and the season, you may observe different species such as Mediterranean fish, octopuses, moray eels, starfish and other marine animals.
The diving centre provides all the necessary equipment for your dive: wetsuit, scuba tank, mask, fins, regulator and buoyancy control device (BCD). You only need to bring your swimsuit, towel and personal belongings.
