Discover the naturalness of the La Commanderie de Peyrassol estate. Accompanied by Philippe, you'll be invited to take the time to meticulously observe the detail of a leaf, the importance of a flower and understand the vital role of our forest on our entire ecosystem.
After a short historical presentation of the area, you'll cross the vines and observe the diversity of plants they hide in their rows. You'll enter the forest to discover endemic Provençal species, their historical riches or their medicinal properties.
You may be lucky enough to come across Peyrassol's fauna, but it will be easy to imagine it as you listen to Philippe's stories. The flora will hold no more secrets for you, and historic sites will be revealed as you stroll along, such as a century-old well and the estate's most majestic white oak...
You'll then climb to the olive hill for a stop with a view, a convivial and well-deserved break before heading back down the forest path and reaching the estate's oldest vines.
Before or after this carriage ride, with the help of an explanatory booklet and map, wander the Peyrassol paths at your leisure to discover the rest of the route, the works in the Philippe Austruy Collection, the Remarkable Garden, the vineyards and the forest.
As for the art center and the winery, they can only be visited during guided tours.
You can also dine on site at Chez Jeannette or at Lou's Bistrot (reservations required, see opening dates).
