Explore stress-free, the most beautiful places in the South-East of France up to the Italian border.

Discover the surroundings of Cannes and the French Riviera with our coach excursions!

The advantages of an organized trip:

  • Multiple pick-up points close to your accommodation between Saint-Raphaël, Fréjus, Roquebrune-sur-Argens and Le Muy.
  • Less fatigue: we drive you! No stress about finding parking in tourist areas that are often difficult to access.
  • A guide to recommend must-see spots, restaurants for lunch, and tips during free time visits in the heart of the South Region & border areas.

Make the most of your stay with guided day trips from the Estérel Côte d’Azur area! These coach excursions will take you for a day to visit major cities such as Marseille or Monaco, nearby islands, Italian towns, or even preserved natural parks that showcase the beauty of the region!

Popular destinations for a day trip:

Discover historic towns:

Italy: Ventimiglia and San Remo:
Travel with Beltrame coaches on the market days of these border towns.

  • Ventimiglia, a border town, offers a large market every Friday with an abundance of fresh local produce (fruits, vegetables, cold cuts, etc.), as well as a clothing market (beware of counterfeits). Lunch and free time all day.
  • San Remo, where the market takes place on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Beyond the food and clothing markets, take time to taste local products and stroll through the alleys of this medieval Italian village. Enjoy a shopping session in the city center streets.

Marseille: The Phocean city is perfect for a one-day visit. Stroll along La Canebière and the Old Port, and take the little train to easily reach Notre-Dame de la Garde. Free day visit.

Monaco: The Principality, located between Menton and Nice, is also a unique destination. Don’t miss the Changing of the Guard or a visit to the Oceanographic Museum. Free day visit.

Discover Provence with L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue: Immerse yourself in the Provençal atmosphere. This village is famous for its antique market and Provençal lanes surrounded by the Sorgue River (one of Vaucluse’s rivers). Spend the afternoon exploring this charming village while enjoying a delicious ice cream!

Guided tours and themed day trips

  • The Verdon Gorges: Cross the famous gorges (via the iconic Route des Crêtes) and visit the beautiful village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, renowned for its craftsmanship and known as the capital of Faïence pottery. Free time to enjoy a good meal in one of the picturesque streets of one of the “Most Beautiful Villages of France.”
  • The Calanques of Cassis: A unique one-day experience discovering the port, the castle, the chapel of Notre-Dame du Bon Voyage, and the Calanques (note: boat tours are not included in the excursion price; check availability if you want to join during free time).
  • Train des Pignes: The last steam train still in service (on special occasions). Experience the charm of past journeys through the Nice hinterland.

The coach company offers a themed day-trip program updated annually on our website, featuring events such as the Nice Carnival, the Lemon Festival in Menton, the Violet Festival in Tourrettes-sur-Loup, the Rose Festival in Grasse, or the Gypsy Pilgrimage in Camargue...

Many other coach excursions are organized throughout the year—don’t miss the updated program on the Experience Côte d’Azur website. Escape for a day in the South-East of France!

Prepare for your coach trip

What to bring?

  • An ID card is mandatory (especially for crossing the Italian border).
  • Comfortable clothing to fully enjoy your strolls through tourist towns.

You don’t need to worry about driving or parking—the driver takes care of everything and shares information about must-see places during the trip.

Are the coaches accessible for people with reduced mobility?

You may bring a wheelchair, which will be stored in the luggage compartment. However, you must be able to board the bus yourself as it is not fully adapted. Please contact us before booking to check feasibility depending on the excursion.

What happens in case of bad weather?

In principle, weather is not a reason for cancellation. However, depending on the forecast, we may adjust the itinerary or, in rare cases, cancel the trip (in case of weather alerts). Clients will be notified in advance, and a postponement or refund will be offered if no alternative is possible.

Are guides included in the trips?

No, there is usually no tour guide on board. However, drivers know the destinations well and can recommend visits or good restaurants.

How can I book a day trip?

Click on the activity page of the organized trip you’re interested in, then select your preferred date on the calendar. You must choose your boarding point closest to your accommodation. Once payment is completed, the coach operator receives your booking request and confirms it quickly (usually within 24h).

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, you can cancel your booking according to our cancellation policy available on our website. Conditions vary depending on the cancellation notice. In general, cancellations are accepted more than 48h before departure without justification. Less than 48h before departure, only cancellations with a medical certificate are refundable.

Are there toilets on Beltrame coaches during day trips?

No, toilets are not available onboard. However, a stop at a service area or a pause during the journey is planned.

Are dogs allowed on Beltrame coaches?

No, unfortunately, for the comfort of all passengers, dogs are not allowed (even small ones).

I booked a Beltrame excursion, is the trip confirmed and guaranteed?

Day trips are guaranteed with a minimum of 25 participants. The provider will contact you directly if the trip is canceled due to insufficient participants.

I’m going on a day trip to Ventimiglia, what can I bring back from the market?

Beware of counterfeit products. These are strictly prohibited. The provider declines all responsibility in case of border checks and will not wait for passengers fined at customs.
