Sea Canyoning in the Estérel Creeks on a Giant Paddle Board – Saint-Raphaël

Enjoy a fun and refreshing water activity departing from Port du Poussaï in Saint-Raphaël. Hop aboard a large, stable and spacious giant paddle board, nicknamed the “Estérel gondola”, and discover the red rocks of Cap Dramont, the famous Île d’Or, sea caves and turquoise coves only accessible from the sea.

Accessible from age 2, this 2-hour experience combines a gentle sea excursion, swimming stops, snorkeling and optional rock jumps. Everyone joins in at their own pace: the adventurous ones can jump, while others can swim, sunbathe on the paddle board or simply enjoy the stunning scenery.

Duration : 2h

  • A unique activity combining a sea excursion, swimming and “sea canyoning”
  • Accessible from age 2, on a stable, spacious and comfortable giant paddle board
  • A route near the Île d’Or and the red cliffs of Cap Dramont
  • Several stops in turquoise coves, sea caves and natural rock pools
  • Optional rock jumps supervised by a guide, with different heights available
  • Fresh drinks included on board

On the programme

Set off from the small Port du Poussaï, in the Dramont area of Saint-Raphaël, for a 2-hour guided excursion in the heart of the Estérel creeks. Comfortably seated on a 7-metre giant paddle board, you paddle as a small group with your guide towards Cap Dramont.

From the very beginning, the scenery is spectacular: the red rocks of the Estérel plunge into the Mediterranean Sea, the Île d’Or appears in front of you and the turquoise water invites you in for a swim. Your guide, dressed as a gondolier with a striped sailor shirt and hat, accompanies you throughout the trip and shares stories and local insights about the landscapes around you.

Along the route, several stops are planned in places only accessible from the sea: hidden coves, rocky passages, sea caves and small natural pools formed by the rocks. You can swim, snorkel with your own mask, relax on the giant paddle board or simply enjoy the sun.

For those looking for a little more excitement, the activity has a fun “sea canyoning” feel. At some stops, your guide shows you the safe areas where you can climb onto the rocks and jump into the sea. Heights vary, from small accessible jumps to more impressive ones for the most adventurous. Nothing is compulsory: you choose whether you want to jump, swim or simply admire the view.

The physical effort remains very moderate. Up to 12 participants paddle together, with the help of the guide, making the activity friendly, accessible and ideal for cooling off during hot summer days on the French Riviera.

Why choose this activity?

This excursion is ideal if you are looking for an original, accessible and refreshing water activity in Saint-Raphaël. If you love the landscapes of the Estérel but prefer a more peaceful experience, you can also discover our Estérel coves excursion by gondola, with swimming stops and no rock jumping.
