You'll begin with a visit to Boquería market. The cooking class consists of preparing a complete gourmet menu. Before you'll taste 10 Tapas from different regions of Spain and the chef will explain the history of Spanish cuisine. It is the most complete gastronomic activity you can find in Barcelona
We are located in a beautiful century-old building in the spectacular Plaça Reial, in the center of Barcelona, next to Las Ramblas.
The experience includes a tour of the nearby La Boquería market. With a rainbow of top-quality produce and diverse blend of aromas, it’s hardly surprising that it is saturated by tourists, making it all the more useful to have a local guide you through the hustle and bustle.
The guide will explain to you about traditional foods and the most popular Catalans products as well.
After that we come back to our gastronomic school in order to go ahead to make the cooking workshop.
All carefully prepared to perfection, the sampling menu consists of a spectacular array of ten “Tapas”, originating from various cities within Spain. The chef will explain the history of Spanish cuisine through these “Tapas”.
After that we will be ready to start the cooking class. The cooking workshop is designed so that each participant is involved in the experience, the chef and his assistant will participate with them by giving some instructions in the cooking process. All participants cook all the dishes on the Menu. For example, one Paella is cooked for every 2-3 participants.
Once everything is ready, it will be served on an Imperial table.
Enjoy excellent regional wines while the waiters serve the dishes you have prepared.Includes drinks throughout the activity, in the Tapas, in the cooking class and in the Menu.

Best cooking class!
We absolutely loved our cooking class! Claudia was extremely helpful in explaining the history of foods in Barcelona and Spain. She had us all get involved in different aspects of the cooking. The tastings were adventurous and delicious, and the ultimate meal was fantastic. The space was gorgeous as well. It was one of the best parts of our time in Bacelona!
A fun and adventurous class!
Claudia, our host made this cooking class the most bright, light-hearted, fun, informative, and interesting experience. She tied the whole group together so well and made us all feel like friends by 10 minutes in. We had a blast getting to know her, each other, and how to make a GREAT paella and lovely dessert to go with it. Her and her partner worked very well together and were prepared and made things go very smoothly. We also got the opportunity to learn some interesting background on Spanish food and how it differs in different regions, which I enjoyed learning. I would recommend this class to anyone that was looking for something fun and interactive to do in Barcelona.

This was a really fun afternoon of cooking and eating and wine. The chef was a ton of fun and just made the entire experience perfect. I highly recommend this activity if visiting Barcelona. Great location and the walk to the market is an added bonus!
