Discover the major works of the Philippe Austruy Collection through the art center's three buildings, located in the heart of the Commanderie de Peyrassol.
Intimate and adapted to each individual, the visit to the permanent collection is guided by one of the art center's mediators, to enable each visitor to be accompanied through an approach based on proximity, adaptability and exchange. In 2025, two thematic hangings offer a plunge into the fascinating history of artists, from the 1960s to the present day.
The art center can only be visited during this guided tour.
The hanging in the main building, created in 2016, articulates a selection of paintings and sculptures whose logic relies largely more on visual devices than they do on narrative, a subject or a story to tell. Visual illusion, the inclusion of the viewer in the artistic device, and the positioning of the work of art as an autonomous and independent object, are at the heart of this journey. The second building, originally intended to house temporary exhibitions, brings together artists in direct contact with history, underground culture, socio-political conflicts and the violence of the world.
Before or after this guided cultural stroll, stroll the paths of Peyrassol at your leisure to discover the rest of the route, in the Remarkable Garden, the forest or the vineyards of the estate, with the help of an explanatory booklet and a map. In the boutique, you'll enjoy a commented tasting of 2 wines. The winery can only be visited during guided tours. You can also dine on site at Chez Jeannette or at Lou's Bistrot (reservations required, see opening dates).

nul et illégal ! aucun accès ou service handicapés !
visite prévue avec hébergement, diner le soir au restaurant, balade en voiturette et visite du musée nous sommes un couple de personnes âgées de 80 ans dont une personne à mobilité réduite, nous voulions fêter un anniversaire et l'âge et le handicap avaient été signalé à la réservation une fois sur place nous avons du annuler la totalité du séjour et des activités pour manque total d'accès handicapés, ce qui est illégal et ne nous avait pas été indiqué à la réservation hébergement situé au lieu-dit "La Rouvière" accessible par un chemin étroit et défoncé, sans éclairage, stationnement à quelques centaines de mètres de la chambre pas de stationnement à coté du restaurant, plusieurs centaines de mètres à faire à pied nous avons demandé un avoir devant ces conditions, ou une compensation en bouteilles de vin attitude psychorigide de la directrice qui a confisqué en totalité les arrhes versées à la réservation, plus de 300 € nous sommes clients depuis plus de 10 ans et avons fait connaitre le domaine à de nombreux amis nous sommes très en colère et nous ne reviendrons plus au domaine de Peyrassol
